From the obituary of Elias Lew, he had a sister:
Mrs. Leah Lew Brener, wife of Phyvel, died Feb. 24, 1940.
NOLA Jewish Fed. records show him to live at 2619 Cardondelet, 1916-21.
Dad: "When I was a child ,I saw the elderly Philip Brenner at Beth Israel
Synagogue, then at Carondelet Street. Lazard Brenner was killed while
liberating Italy (World War II)."
